Oh Baby, you need one of these...

This is a must have for anyone who owns a car.
This is a simple tool.
Easy to use for anyone.
Quick... It is fast and simple.
Check out your entire charging system.
All 12 volt batteries have 12.6 Volts
If you have any less than 12.6 volts your battery needs charging.
Check that battery charger you use to charge it too!
In two seconds you will see how much your charger, or Charging system is charging the battery.
A good Charging system should be putting out 13.8 to 14.2 volts.
Your battery charger will put out more on high, so don't let the battery get too warm. I like charging my batteries on low.
Just a word to the wise...
The average life of any battery is 3 years.
As soon as you see the white corrosion on the battery cable, you battery is on its way out. Oh sure you can milk it along for a year or two, maybe.
But... you are ruining your alternator and battery cables and when that bad boy starts to crank slow you are ruining the starter.
How much do you think a positive battery cable costs on a new car?
Some are well over 200.00 from the dealer plus labor.
These are just my thoughts after 30 years in the automotive business...
Oh yes, keep those battery cable connections clean too. That means wire brush the post and inside the cable mount.

Quick Check State of Charge

This product is very similar to one I owned many years ago. I gave the old one to my daughter to use with her RV. I've missed having one and was pleased when Amazon had one available that was similar in design. I've just used it a limited number of times, but it appears to work just as well as my old one, and offered at a very reasonable price.
