Just like snap on drivers
"Looks like Snap-on...It's just as good as a Snap-on"...blah, blah blah. Hey guys, this is not a Snap-on screw driver. It looks the same and feels similar, but the handle and the blade are lighter and the blade tip is not peen blasted the same. I bought this screwdriver for a tool kit in my truck and it's fine for that. While fine for a household tool kit, I Just don't think it would hold up in daily use.
Williams is made by snap on or the other way around. Either way they are made in the same factory. I've heard Williams is the industrial line. The only difference I notice is that the Williams aren't finished as well ( you can see the seam running down the handle) so if you don't care so much about wanting a flashy color or the tool being super pretty Williams is for you. I wonder if the Williams are just the ones that don't make the perfect standard for a snap-on driver and instead of throwing it out for something like the seam showing they just brand it "Williams" and sell it at a cheaper price? With my eyes closed I can't tell the difference when they are in my hand.
It likes Snop-on item. I love this
Williams manufacturers the hard handle screwdrivers for snap-on. So obviously they're the best there are. if you don't mind not being able to bring it back to the snap on guy you'll be alright. I've never actually broken one, people at work just steal them.
