worked well to remove the coolant hose under the engine hood. In a limited space like under the hood, you may be fond of U-shape hose removers like this. I tried buying four more (Lisle 80200 Hose Remover Set - 4 Piece ...) but it turned out that this S&G one worked the best. I am not saying that Lisle's are bad, they may be good for some other scenarios.

It worked well for me in those areas where the tool had enough room to work. In today's engine compartments that can be the real challenge. Still had to resort to stubby screwdrivers and coathanger loops (not sharp ends) to get into the other places.
