Quality Combo

The Sunex universal impact and adapter set is packaged in a nice protective/travel case. The set has a nice quality feel to it and clearly displays sizing information for quick reference. The universal adapters have an embedded heavy duty spring to keep the joint flexible and steady. I'm very happy with the purchase and would do so again.

Excellent quality, for an excellent price

These were my first Sunex purchase, after hearing of the quality of their impact sockets. Excellent quality (Made in Taiwan) and have held up just fine to daily use and abuse in a truck shop. I'd put these up against any of Matco's ADV line (which in reality is just Gearwrench) any day of the week.

Nice, just the set you need

Nice set, logical set of adaptors, nothing more, or less than you need. (If you are using a 1/4 and an adaptor you are going to break something, so don't.)

The Universals are nice, more like CV ball type than the UJ pin type. That said they are pressed and crimped together but sill seems plenty strong.
You will loose power through them and the angle makes it even worse but that is the same with anything other than direct drive off the gun.
(I have seen normal UJ pin type "impact" rated but they are not and don't last so don't buy them, get these instead, pay a bit more but save in long run.)

Time will tell how they hold up over time but all my other Sunex is doing well so expect same from these.

p.s. Yet again another blow molded case Grrr !! but these will just go on rails with the rest of my sockets.
