why didn't I have one of these before

Love this tool! At first I was experiencing buyers remorse because I have been using the wire stripper combo for years. I bought this after a friend of mine had one. After receiving and using these I don't know how I did without them. They solidly crimp solderless terminals unlike the wire stripper combo tool. I have also used them for Molex computer cables. The heads change out effortlessly if you turn the lever the tight way. :) if you do car stereo work one time get this tool you will use it again.

It was a reasonable price and met initial calibration. Several dies for many options. Release lever forincomplete crimp action is nice. Just received from calibration. Unused as of yet. Nice grip. Easy push button change for dies.

quality tool

I have used this crimper for over a year doing remote start installs and wiring repair. I do not use this for butt splices as the tool is too cumbersome. I also need to use the uninsulated die set on insulated terminals to get 100% good crimps every time. Using the insulated dies on insulated connectors(many different brands) would not crimp down to the wire occasionally. I have not used this on delphi weather pack so I cannot comment.

Great tool. Care must be taken that you don't release the jaws while using them. The kit has a good selection of dies. I have used it for non-insulated barrels in various sizes and it had secured them nicely.
