The main transverse support bar mounts directly on the shock strut towers, providing a stable, overhead hold on the engine while drivetrain or subframe work is performed. Built from lightweight yet durable steel tubing welded in a parallel configuration, this tool resists flexing under load while keeping positioning versatile across a wide range of vehicle types. It is suitable for use on SUVs and trucks and is designed to accommodate most engine compartment configurations.

  • Fully adjustable strut tower mounts can be positioned on the transverse support bar up to 47-1/2" apart to fit most vehicles

  • Two front support adapters mount directly onto the transverse support bar and can be easily adjusted to fit any engine compartment configuration

  • Support bar and adapters are constructed from lightweight steel tubing, welded in a parallel configuration to prevent flexing and allow full-length positioning of hooks and adapter front mounting feet

  • Three 1/2" diameter hooks, each 14" long, with spin knobs deliver strength and rapid adjustment to securely support the engine

  • Heavier engines can be supported by utilizing one or both front support adapters on the transverse support bar
