It’s fine

Replaced the plastic version that I had of this when the handle on my old one broke. The cast metal version is much sturdier and stronger. Though I’m not terribly happy with the stuttering action when using the pump .. feels like there should have been some parts that needing oiling inside.

And it seems to take twice as many pump squeezes to do the same pumping volume as on my old one?!?

But for the sake of having a pump that may last longer I will ignore these issues as they aren’t big enough to be a problem .. the pump just isn’t as friendly as my old plastic one. But it works.

Having the suck, or blow option is nice .. my old pump only went one way .. so that was surprising to see.

En general buen producto, se descompuso el primer dia de uso, aunque solo ocupaba la pata o manibela, la cual es de acero resistente, quiza de alguna aleacion de niquel, pero el circuito interno es atroz, se estropeo con unos cuantos bombeos, por otro lado no da supcion. pero como solo requeria la manibela por lo demas esta bien para mi....

good quality tool

I already had a Mityvac radiator test kit with a plastic pump which is okay. This silverline model is metal and very good quality.

I have already used it to test my vacuum advance on my MGB and the MAP sensor on the BMW.

The gauge is good but as it covers pressure and vacuum range it is a bit small scale. If I need to be super accurate I just put a large gauge online.

I use this thing for just about everything, it is very high quality and expect it to last for years, I got tired of gluing/taping my old plastic
version, I also love the fact it can be switched to "Make Pressure" as well, I fashioned a special brake reservoir so I can power bleed
my brakes!
