Excellent performance

Needed to drill several holes (5/8 and 7/8 inch) in a new SS brew kettle. Drill 3/16 pilot - which was the hard part- kept the speed down and let the bit cool between holes. Very sharp and aggressive cut even in pretty thick stainless. Well worth it for this quality bit.

Super convenient and quick to cut....with a few caveats.

Very nice! Efficient and easy to use. cuts clean. Agree with previous poster that it would be nice if the markings were of higher contrast. The only problem with these kinds of bits is that they require more 'headroom' for the larger holes. For instance, if you are drilling tubular material (square or round) you might accidentally drill through the opposing wall to get to the larger size you wanted for the primary hole. Great investment.
