I am sooooo happy I found these on here. 20 years ago I went with this style of coupler. Mainly so I couldn't loan out my air tools. Most people use that other style, so it was easy to say "sorry, mine won't work in your coupler" when asked to loan a tool. Half the time, people forget where they borrowed it from, or abuse the hound out of your stuff. This was a great strategy until I had a couple of couplers fail. Nothing like pulling a tool off the end of a hose and having it whip around on you. Or having one hold on to the tool and refuse to release, and you have to shake and pull with all your might... sending the tool with your brand new carbide cutter into the concrete floor and breaking it when it finally releases. Oh yeah, that's fun. The bit cost more than the tool! Man, I was so happy to find these exact ones. Can't find them at any big box stores. I still use some that are over 25 years old, so this is probably a lifetime supply. So try not to think too much about your mortality when you get these. But you children will probably use them when you are taking the big dirt nap. If you get a proper burial. Let's hope you do.
