Fantastic Tools For Frozen Bolts and Screws

This kit has both the 3/8 and 1/2 drive versions of the Shake N' Brake and these tools are definitely worth having in your toolbox. By far my most frequent use for these is rotor retaining screws. Never had a rotor screw these wouldn't remove and since it's just a 3/8 drive or 1/2 drive end, you can use any style socket or bit you may need to remove the problem fastener. The only thing to keep in mind is you'll need a 19mm wrench to turn this tool while hitting with an air hammer and it has no socket retention feature at all. Anything you put on the end will fall off if you point it down.

But for that one downside you have a tool that pretty much guarantees if the fastener is at all removable, it will come out. Plus this set is an excellent value, getting you both sizes for less than a very similar version of this tool sells for on certain tool trucks. In all I can't recommend this tool enough. You may not need it all the time, but as long as you have a half decent air hammer to use it with, this makes removing stubborn fasteners so much easier.

Great tool for frozen bolts, nut removal had to shim inside impact socket with chunk steel to hammer head of non flanged bolts.

One of the best for seized bolts

Definitely one of the best for seized bolts, however, you have to use it with the smallest stroke air hammer possible otherwise you will damage stuff like the socket you are using or the bolt you are trying to loosen. Also don't immediately blast full power with the air hammer otherwise you might accidentally destroy something.
