The only flaw is as other reviewers have noted - at certain angles, the mirror "falls down" by rotating in the telescoping part. There just isn't enough rotational friction in the smallest of the telescoping tubes. Luckily I don't need to use it that way so it works fine for me. But if I did need to use it that way I'd be completely dissatisfied.
