The Makita DML815 is an 18V LXT cordless LED flashlight running four high-luminance LEDs at 160 lumens. The aluminum head pivots through 12 positive stops from 60 to 110 degrees, so you can aim it into a wheel well or up under a dash and leave it there instead of holding it. A multi-faceted reflector throws a sharp, round spot rather than a wash, and the metal hang hook lets you suspend it off a hood latch or bench edge. At 10-3/4" long and under two pounds with a battery, it stows in a drawer. Sold as a bare tool.
