The Makita 197424-0 is a single BL1860B 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 6.0Ah battery pack, the highest capacity in Makita's standard LXT slide-pack range. It runs the full 18V LXT line and pairs with 18Vx2 (36V) tools when used two at a time. Full charge takes 55 minutes on a Makita rapid charger, and the onboard LED indicator shows remaining power without putting it in the tool. Same physical size as the 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah and 5.0Ah packs, so it drops into anything that takes an LXT battery.

Features

  • 6.0Ah capacity offers the longest run time in the standard LXT range for prolonged, heavy-duty applications

  • Reaches full charge in 55 minutes or less on a Makita rapid charger

  • LED charge level indicator displays approximate remaining battery power

  • Battery Protection System provides over-discharge, temperature and current protection when used with a Star-marked tool

  • Built-in memory chip communicates with the charger CPU to optimize charging to each battery's condition

  • Optimum Charging System uses three active controls (current, voltage and temperature) to maximize battery life

  • Li-Ion construction offers extended run time and more charge cycles than Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries

  • Resists self-discharge and stays ready for use after long periods of storage

  • Slide-style LXT pack fits the full Makita 18V LXT platform
