The Makita 1911K1-3 is a 7" dust extraction surface grinding shroud for Makita 7" and 9" angle grinders. It encloses the wheel and ports to a shop vacuum so concrete, coating, and paint dust go into the extractor instead of into the air. A four-spring suspension keeps the shroud riding flat on the surface as you move, soft brushes seal the perimeter, and the sliding front cap retracts so you can work right up to a wall or obstruction. Standard 1-7/16" OD hose fitting works with most vacuum systems.
