Better than razors

Ive had this set for a couple of years and they have help up well; I only pull out a razor in tight spaces. Would be nice if they offered a stubby set.

This is an excellent scraper set, and the exact same set our Matco guy sells. I'm a professional mechanic and try to find good deals on tools wherever I can. For certain stuff like this, it makes a lot more sense to go directly to the manufacturer and skip the Matco markup. Matco sells this set for $71.50, and it's the exact same thing. They are fantastic scrapers if you know how to use them properly. You have to be careful with them as they are harder than just about anything and will gouge other materials without hesitation. But, if used properly, they are fantastic at cleaning gasket surfaces. I love running them over a surface and seeing the original machining marks from when the part was manufactured. That way you know it is *clean.*
