They just work good

Use these often for removing/replacing stubborn tie rods, idler arms, pitman arms, center links. I use these in conjunction with regular pickle forks and a BFH because these are not as tough as the one-piece regular forks, as they often break at the steps, and the air hammer adapter, or the threads of the reg hammer adapter. I'm not a fan of buying this tool again (especially for the price) but I have done so many times in the past 12 years because they work when nothing else would, and will do so again.

Good universal tool

Good universal ball stud removal tool. Works well in tight conditions where other types of presses won't work. I used it on 2011 Ford Fusion lower control arm studs. Worked great on left side; but, the right side had less clearance for the tool due to subtle dimensional differences in the knuckle forging. It didn't work as well.
