Pretty Spectacular devices if you know what they are for.. releasing Fuel Connectors on old Pickup trucks in very tight spaces. The Fuel Connectors have a white "inner" clasp which expands and spring outwards when its seated to prevent removal. The only way to bring those claps (the look like wings) inwards so that they release the collar and allow you to pull the fuel connector off is to grap the tiny thin lip of a nylon skirt between the bottom of the fuel connector and the flat broad surface of the fuel module on the gas tank. Its far "harder" to do do without heavy damage to the gas tank and the fuel connector pipe stems than you would "Ever" believe. I tried several Hardened Steel Needle Nose pliers and destroyed them in the process. Steel against Nylon plastic! These are exactly for that purpose. They are a touch aluminum or steel that slides inbetween the Nylon skirt and the Fuel Connector and collapses the clasp. There are two different sizes because the Fuel Connectors usually differ in size between the outbound and inbound (or source and drain) to the carb or fuel injectors. They have a hole in each for a keychain like chain so you don't loose them. I put them on a Spark Plug Gapper for the tool box so they don't get lost or separated.
This is how tools should be made simple and effective and cost effective.
Bought this specifically to change my fuel pump in a Pontiac Grand Prix. Worked as advertised. Sort of needed as there isn't enough of room to use a normal disconnect tool.
