Great addition to the tool box

These work great in hard to reach areas to get radiator hose clamps off. They work a lot better than the long needle nose pliers I used to use. The locking feature works good.

Hate spring clamps? Me too, and this tool takes a lot of suffering out of the equation. The locking feature combined with a long reach makes it great for heater hoses, or output blocks on the rear of cylinder heads. I've really taken a liking to tools with the "waffle-iron" style gripping pads.

I service cars at a shop everyday. This tool won't work in every situation, but it is amazingly well designed and powerful for more than half of the applications of spring clamps. I reach for it first. It is a solid quality tool that will outlast the tech using it! Wish I had bought it years ago.
