Great for transmission work

I put these to work shortly after purchase, rebuilding a ZF 6HP automatic gearbox. There's a big circlip / snap ring in the middle of the transmission that these were almost perfect for. I say almost, because the only issue was that when inside the transmission cases and the circlio was compressed, the ratcheting strap piece ended up pressed against the inside of the transmission case and kept pushing the plier out of the circlip. It got the job done though with some trial and error. I considered cutting down the ratchet strap, but then the price I paid had then tripled on amazon and I realised how good of a price I had gotten (around $30-35 AUD) so I decided against modifications. Noticed the numbers on the vinyl handles came off with transmission oil on them too, however not an issue to me.
