I bought this tool to cut of the ends of nails and to cut the assorted small-diameter metal items. Don't shy away from this tool because of the cost. This is likely made of old-fashion tool steel, cold-rolled and hardened, which means that the Kinipex nippers are made of a harder steel than the steel it is cutting. Snip and the metal was near effortlessly and surgically removed. I wish my other wood and metal cutting tools were this good. I will look at what tools Knipex makes again, when I need to purchase another cutting tool. Worth the money. Keep it dry and lightly oiled.

Won’t bend or break like other pliers

These are a good pair of nips. They have a good ergonomic grip angle for one or two handed use. The cutting jaws are hardened appropriately for the jobs they are designed for.

Great for pulling nails, if they won't pull, just nip off the head and drive them in to put a screw adjacent to fasten whatever the nail wouldn't hold. I use these on my metal roof that was nailed and the nails are working loose. The compact head fits into the corrugations better than any other tool I've flund
