these irwin cutters are good , not the best i've used not the worst. for the money they do the job.

Good tool, has held up well.

I won't review a lot of things until after they've been in use for a good long time. I work as a telco tech- my tools see constant and often hard use in all kinds of weather. These still work. When they go under, I'll probably buy another set. I use them on "C" wire and on steel-strand self-support aerial wire- no problem. Not meant for delicate tasks- the same thing that gives them good durability- their broad jaws- makes them too chunky for tight places.
