Great little tool.

Great little tool. A real Vice-grip in miniature. Well made. One reviewer complained that the adjustment screw was hard to turn. Turn the screw when the pliers are unlocked. A drop of lube oil on the screw threads can help, too.

IRWIN VISE-GRIP is a known brand name.

I needed to compress a rubber paddle on a Snow Blower and had very limited clearance. The small needle nose of these small locking pliers enabled me to accomplish my being able to get a bolt started with the nut. Without them it was impossible.

I've used this little 4" pair of pliers several times now to grab and extract small screws that have broken off with just a little nub left above the surface. So far they've come through every time. Very glad I bought them.
