I was replacing o2 sensors on my 02 Wrangler. 2 of the 4 were very hard, but the last was stripped to almost rounded. Cut everything down to just the bolt portion, heated the heck out of it and this wrenched it right out. Could not have been happier since I spent so much time trying with other tools.
Struggled with an oxygen sensor at the exhaust manifold in a bad location for a few months, tried heat, PB Blaster.
It took me longer to figure out how to get the socket up into the space and tap it with the hammer than it did to unseat the remnants of the sensor.
In case you can't get a breaker bar or ratchet in that spot, the outside hex on the socket is about 36mm.
Rounded off an oxygen sensor. Tried everything to get it off.. ended up taking a chisel and breaking it off to put this bad boy on. Tapped it a few good times with a hammer to make sure it was on good. Hooked up a wrench and a breaker bar and took a deep breath and said a little prayer. Then turning the breaker bar this little thing was like magic pulling out the broken o2 sensor. I cannot stress how easy it was to remove it, it truly is magic.
Mo fkn life saver, was hesitant at first when i was hammering it on the lug nut... came right out, even used it on a nut that didnt need extracting... for sure going to get another in a different size...
In removing a wheel on my suburban I found that the lug nuts had been damaged after repeated removal and reinstallation over the years and now could not be removed when I absolutely need to remove some of the lug nuts. I tried several lug nut removal tools without success. Then I discovered Irwin tools. I purchased the 7/8 (22mm) nut removal tool and in an instant the bad lug nut was removed. Everyone that works on their own cars needs to have these nut removal tools in their tool box.
