Worked for repairing stripped oil pan drain on Subaru Outback

This worked perfect for replacing the stripped oil pan drain (M20 - 1.5) on my Subaru Outback with a Fumoto FG7B oil drain valve (M22-1.5). I also ordered a 1/4"-1 1/8" Adjustable Tap Wrench to turn the tap, but I found that a 17mm socket grips the tap perfectly and provides more options for tight spaces. I ended up using a combination of a drill and ratchet with 17mm socket to turn the tap and make the new threads in the oil pan. The threads weren't pretty, but the valve screwed in firmly. Instead of messing with the threads further, I decided to make the bond permanent by cleaning the oil off with CRC Brakleen and a shop towel then applying a thin coat of JB Weld Original Cold Weld to the threads on the pan and the drain valve. I let the car sit for a day before filling with oil and running.
