Very nice impact gun. Very powerful, about or even more power that 3/8 air impact. I like the light, it is very bright and also can be turn off when you don't need it. Only problem I had is with directional switch, when working in tight places sometimes I accidentally switch it would even know if it switch or not. I wish they made it little more tighter, otherwise great impact, love it, use every day.
For the last two years or soy 1/2" drive has performed flawlessly. When my 3/8" Snapon died out of warranty I purchased the Ingersoll.
Feels better, has decent power and it uses the same batteries as the larger one.
I like it!
My most used tool in the arsonal
Great price and arrived on time
I am on board with most of the other reviewers....
two amazing features of this impact wrench....
Light weight
and
POWER (torque)
While light weight may not seem important, but holding a heavy metal impact wrench can wear on your hands all day. If you use them occasionaly, prob. not as big of deal...
Power, damn, this thing works as well as my pneumatic gun...and NO MORE HOSES! What a Relief !
I use this for car lugs only, so be sure it fits your application. But for my needs, this thing broke some seriously rusted on lugs without a sweat. Incredible torque for a battery operated gun.
Batteries are not huge, but re chage time is short, so u are never without power, very nice compromise between weight of batteries, power, and re change time...and two batteries included. I have not tried many of these, but my guess is, this Ingersoll Rand unit is prob. hard to beat, as IR has perfected Pneum tools for years, so it makes sense they would perfect the battery operated replacements.
Kudos to the design team on this product !
