fits well and protects

Does what you expect, fits well and protects the tool. You don't even really know its there it fits so well, except around the reverse switch. Color on mine was black, read carefully when ordering as red is shown.

The boot I got is black, and not the red one in the picture. Amazon should update the picture. It seems to be quite durable so far, and is a tight fit. It took some stretching to get it on.

Still holding up. Some minor scratches but no tears. Highly recommended.

Does a good job protecting my impact gun

Even though it's accumulated quite a few nicks from extensive use, this cover does a good job protecting my IR 2130. Note that it's black and grey, not red as shown in the picture.

Outstanding piece - delivering what I feel is a very reasonable service; to offer *some* shock and scratch resistance...which can't help but add *some* time to the lifespan of the tool. It's a tight fit - yes - but I installed two of them (on two identical guns) in the driveway in three minutes...with no bench, tools or lubrication of any kind.

I bought this as a package deal with the impact. I know ir was a good name and thought I should buy this. I work at a dealership and needed a good impact protective case for my gun. Even though putting it on was a pain was well worth it. I have had it over 6 months and my gun still looks new thanks to this taken all the damage.
