Seems very well made and is bright

Putting it up was very easy. I had to order a 14/3 extension cord to reach the outlet for the garage door opener. The retractable cord works really well other than giving the appearance to my wife I was going to pull it off the ceiling when I tested it, but that couldn't be further from the truth at all. It is very sturdy and attaches with 3 lags that were about 5/16". I used a 1/4" drill bit to start the holes and it will hold a lot more weight than it needs to. It will swivel and move as designed when you pull the cord.

The 1300 lumen light is very bright an did just what I was looking for. My only concern was the packaging used to ship it was horribly bare minimum. It was in the box displayed in the ad, but it is shoe box thickness and in 2 pieces held together with 2 small circles of tape. There was no styrofoam packing as you would expect, just laying loose in the box. Then placed in a larger cardboard box and shipped. I was amazed that it arrived in tact, but it survived.

I subtracted a star for the poor packing, so 4 stars.
