Not what the picture shows

What came is not what the picture shows. Instead you get an ignition tester that functions the same but looks quite different. If for some reason it matters exactly what you get don't buy this one. However the product that was sent did work exactly as this one would. And for what it's worth this is a very good product.

Fantastic tool that makes repairs easy and fast!

I love this tool. You can quickly and easily determine whether you have a problem with your HEI ignition system, and if so, exactly where the problem is. The unit has been designed to show a spark only if there is sufficient energy. There is no need to determine the color of the spark as is required with some other ignition testers. This makes it super easy for you -- if there is a spark, that component is good... if there is no spark you have a failed component. I was rapidly able to determine that I had a bad coil on my F-150 that was causing a misfire in Cylinder #8. As luck would have it, the following week I had a misfire problem in my Dodge Caravan on Cylinder #3. Using this tool it showed me, again, that the problem was a bad coil on that vehicle. The test time was less than 3 minutes on each vehicle. I paid about 9 bucks for this unit from Amazon which is WAY cheaper than taking my vehicle to a mechanic, and I only had to replace the bad component on each vehicle... no getting ripped off by a mechanic for expensive parts that I did not need as you read that happens to others all the time in the car/truck forums. I highly recommend this tool!
