This is an exact replacement for one I have used for more than twenty years and the square drive was worn out!

Great for tight places

I use this for removing the oil filter in my cummins powered dodge ram truck. If I'm using a fluted filter I can just use a normal oil filter socket, however one of the high efficiency baldwin filters I use does not have flutes, and as such this thing is a lifesaver because there's no room to get your hands in there with a regular strap wrench.

KD Tool?

Seems like an excellent quality wrench but is the rebranded KD Tool marked as Gear Wrench. The quality of manufacture appears excellent but only heavy use will prove it out. It appears that they use some parts that are manufactured in China and some in US as the tool has several stamped markings on it so it is unknown whether this was made in China or US or assembled in either country that is why I gave only four stars, for appearance and finish I would have given it five stars but if I was sure it was manufactured in China I would not have even bought it. Fast free shipping as always, well satisfied . Will see how this works out and if need be will revise my review at a later date, thanks for reading.
