A little sticky

Crimping 2/0 cables was a little tough, the crimping tool would stick in the crimped lug and would take a few minutes to free it up and move on to the next cable. I built 12 battery cables and this was what made it possible. A good tool if a little bit of a pain to use, kinda sticks but it works.

Crimps heave gauge wire.

I am building a solar system and needed a lot of wire connectors. Screw clamp type is very nice but expensive. Bought this crimp tool so as to use less expensive crimp connectors. Works well and makes a secure crimp on heave gauge wire. Very loose tolerance construction is reason for four stars. Tends to break the plastic insulation on insulated connectors. EASY TO USE

I got this for my KNU concepts wire and it heavy duty, about 4" it has a spring loaded spike so when you put the eyelet under, it will hold it in place! I struck the 4 gauge wire first and three good strikes it was done and looked really good. I would think if your buying your system and are using anything less than 6 gauge buy this and you won't be disappointed

A little sticky
