BUY THIS NOW, IT WILL MAKE LIFE EASIER

I was using a crappy blue plastic one of these to de-solder my switches from a pcb. It was fine and worked ok but in my mind i knew there had to be something a little better out there. Sure enough found this and read the reviews and they are accurate. This thing is built to last and feels great in your hand. The heat resistant tip works awesome and it comes with spare tubing so you can replace it over time. Do yourself a favor and buy this if you're de-soldering through hole mounts. You wont regret it

Very nicely made and works well.

After both of my Soldapullt's plastic spring retaining tabs broke, I decided to buy something made of metal. This sucker is very well built, fits great in the hand and in tight spaces and has good sucking power, at least on small connections. I haven't tried it yet on a large solder blob, but I'd probably use a braid for that anyway. I do like the clear silicone tips, its much easier to see what's going on. Hopefully this tool will last a very long time.

This desoldering pump is at the cutting edge of solder removal technology.
