The Bosch GKE18V-20N is an 18V cordless pruning saw, sold as a bare tool, for clearing limbs, branches, and shrubs around the shop lot, yard, or job site. The 8 in. bar and brushless motor handle thick branches, and the compact, balanced body reaches into tight spots where a full-size chainsaw is awkward. A good fit if you already run Bosch 18V batteries.

Features

  • 8 in. guide bar

  • Brushless motor with 23.6 ft/s chain speed

  • Up to 350 cuts per charge on a 4Ah battery (2 in. x 2 in. pressure-treated wood, per Bosch; battery sold separately)

  • Toolless chain tensioning

  • Automatic bar and chain oiling

  • Kickback detection helps stop the chain after a sudden tool reaction

  • End-of-cut detection engages the chain brake on rapid downward movement

  • Lightweight, balanced design

  • Compatible with Bosch 18V batteries and the AMPShare battery system
