So the time came for me to replace my front wheel bearings..!! Got the part from autozone, but they didn't have the tool to remove the bearing from the hub housing. So i asked arround how much to take them out, from 3 different shops I was quote $100.00 since they have to take them out and pressed the new ones. This price was after I told them that the hubs were already out of the vehicle. I think this was a little to high, so I decided to do my homework and do some research on good old YouTube. And after looking a few how to videos i came across this particular one we're I've seen this tool set. And ofcourse i looked for it on amazon and got it from Amazon. It works great, less than 10 min and both of my front bearings were out, and pressed the new ones in. This tool set woks great if you have an impact( I have a cordless makita also bought here on Amazon) it can be done with a ratchet also, that's how it was done on the video, but it takes time. This tool set is for removing the bearing and press the new bearing inside the hub. Just got to be careful while pressing the new ones in. Very satisfied with this tool, it comes with different sizes for different cars and light trucks. If you like to work on your own cars and not afraid to do it yourself, u can't go wrong with this tool set. Tools will pay for themselves in time.
This tool set was used on a 97 vw cabrio front wheel bearings.
