The ATD Tools ATD-8244 is a 3" Heavy-Duty Crimped Encapsulated Wire Wheel engineered for demanding surface preparation and finishing applications. Its innovative elastomer encapsulation gradually wears away during use, continuously exposing a consistent short trim that delivers maximum aggression throughout the wheel's entire life. Built for use with angle grinders and rotary tools, this wheel is rated at a maximum of 20,000 RPM, making it suitable for fast, efficient material removal. The combination of heavy-duty crimped steel fill wire and the encapsulated design ensures reliable performance and extended service life.

Features

  • Elastomer encapsulation gradually wears to expose a consistent short trim for maximum aggression and long wheel life

  • Heavy-duty crimped wire construction for aggressive surface preparation

  • 3" encapsulated design keeps wires in place for controlled, uniform contact
