Functional & Cost Effective

I found the ATD-7585, to be a functional and cost effective tool, for spring compression. I felt safe, when compressing the springs, due to the apparent rugged construction, as well as the integral safety clips. I found nothing lacking, or limiting, about the tool. I think, if you want more, in a spring compressor, you will need to bear the cost of a bench or floor model.

Strut tool

There are fancier tools, but this did the job more than adequately for me. I dont have a lot of use for this tool but since it allowed me to buy the parts and install them myself at a saving of about 65% over the quoted price at the muffler shop, I would definately do it again. Lubricate the threads before use.
