Not Just for Plumbing!

Way too beautiful to be hidden under a sink or in a wall - these are perfection for jewelry! Fantastic weight - easy to stamp - terrific for etching. A great selection of sizes. I have drilled small holes in some, used some as "chain" or connectors, and others as a focus pendant. They are so versatile!

I'm sure they are great when used for their original purpose - but why cover up such beautiful metal? If you are looking for something new, cool, and different to add into your jewelry mix, look no further. These add a fun dimension to all sorts of jewelry! (Steampunk, anyone?)

These washers accept stamps very well and are easily textured with a jewelry hammer. I use a 


Two-Hole Metal Punch




 to punch holes in the washers and it goes through them very easily using the smaller punch, then I can use either 20 gauge or 22 gauge copper wire to make a bail or jump ring. Because of the area, I recommend smaller letter stamps like 


1/8th inch letter/number metal stamps





They look lovely with beads hanging from the middle as well.
Very recommended for beginning metal stampers or steampunk jewelry components.

Just what you need for the do-it-yourself auto restorer. I found I would waste a lot of time running to the hardware or auto parts store for nuts, bolts, washers, etc. I needed. Now I just keep a inventory of common hardware found on the vehicle I restore and maintain. Plus when it comes to copper sealing washers, your always better off replacing rather than reusing these washers.
