Great tool

great tool for the big trucks. Dont have to be climbing on the hub or lugnuts anymore to get access. Recommend buying two so you dont have to keep moving it from wheel to wheel.. Will buy another

Very Well Made - Won't Fit My Truck!

This is a nice product but unless you have a truck with considerable clearance between the tire and the fender it won't fit. My 2015 Lincoln Navigator with 22" wheels is one truck that this tire step will not fit. It's too bad really because it's a nice item. Some people would downgrade the item because it doesn't fit their vehicle but that wouldn't be fair.

To be sure it will fit you will need to measure the fender opening above the tire where you will need 24" which I believe is the full width of the part that fits over the tire.

Nice but sharp

My step arrived well packed in heavy cardboard, with straps not tape holding it together. The frame is black, not red like the picture.

The step itself was likely stamped from sheet steel, and all the edges of the step itself are VERY SHARP, wear gloves or be careful handling it.

On my truck, a Ram 1500 with 33" 10-ply tires (17 inch wheels), the step is only a few inches from the ground... I am 6ft-6 and it's just enough so I can see into an over size tool box I have in my truck bed. If you have jumbo tires the step would be higher. I'm thinking I should have bought the adjustable version instead.

One star off for dangerous sharp edges!
