One of 3M's best, this rigid, reinforced resin-bonded cut-off wheel features Cubitron™ II Precision Shaped Grain. When compared with traditional aluminum oxide, zirconia or ceramic grain, Cubitron II abrasives cut faster and last significantly longer. Use this wheel for cutting even the toughest auto body panels, frame rail, exhaust pipes, clamps and rusted bolts. Never use cut-off wheels for grinding. Cut-off wheels are attached to a cut-off wheel tool (sold separately) and must always be used with a wheel guard for safety. The wheel must have a maximum operating speed greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the power tool used. Use with ANSI-approved flanges for type 1 cut-off wheels only.
