2-7-13 -- The LED light on this magnetized picker-upper is bright and the magnets are very strong. I'm a flashlight junkie and I wanted this for my collection, and also I often need to pick up things in hard-to-reach places. UPDATE 5-26-14 -- The flashlight went out and the batteries were dead, so I got ten of the LR1130 button batteries from Amazon for $2.09 (at least they don't cost $5 now). However I still couldn't make it work, so on 5-27-14 I contacted Mayhew to see if there was anything I was doing wrong. Customer Service was very courteous and kindly decided to send me a new unit. I am very pleased with their excellent customer service.
