The Makita DUC101Z is an 18V LXT brushless pruning saw with a 4" bar, built for one-handed work on branches and small stock around a shop yard or fleet lot. Chain speed runs at 1,570 FPM, and Makita rates it at up to 210 cuts through 50 mm cedar on a single 3.0 Ah battery. Chain changes and tensioning are tool-less, and the automatic oiler is adjustable so you can match delivery to the job rather than running it wet all day.
