Great tool to have in those tight situations

This tool helped me remove a stuck egr tube fitting out of the header. I did order on size to small on accident but I still made it work. If it was the right size (which I would recomend) it would have been even easier. Great tool to have in those tight situations.

The Final Solution

I tried everything to remove a severely rounded brass oil drain plug in my '37 Ford. Everything I tried prior to this tool only degraded the rounded the plug more.
The drain plug I was trying to remove started life as a 3/4" hex. The extractor tool I used was 13/16" since I was pretty sure that a 3/4" tool would be too big to grip due to the severe rounding of the plug. To use the 13/16' extractor required a little filing on the drain plug. However, once it started to fit on the plug with a SLIGHT TAP with a hammer the tool bit into the drain plug and became more secure as the tool was twisted counter-clockwise with a ratchet - allowing easy removal of the drain plug.
