The GripEdge BBX2 is a G-FORS Broken Bolt and Stud Extractor engineered to remove bolts broken flush or below the surface in demanding aerospace, automotive, and industrial environments. Its patented non-tapered, bi-directional geometry grips broken bolt remnants firmly against the fastener sidewall without the wedging force that cracks surrounding material or damages threads. Built from Chromium-Molybdenum (CR-MO) steel, the BBX2 is rated for impact use and delivers the toughness needed for heavy extraction work. The integrated G-FORS (Foreign Object Removal System) pusher rod automatically ejects the extracted remnant after removal, keeping the work area clear and reducing secondary operations.

Features

  • Removes broken bolts and studs flush or below surface level

  • Non-tapered geometry grips without wedging force that could crack surrounding material or threads

  • Patented G-FORS pusher rod automatically ejects the extracted broken bolt remnant

  • Bi-directional design supports both loosening and tightening of damaged fasteners

  • Impact compatible for use with impact drivers and hammers during heavy extraction

  • Laser-marked size and drill size information for greater visibility in the field

  • Premium coating provides increased corrosion resistance

  • Suitable for aircraft fasteners, automotive studs, and industrial broken bolts
