Best kit I have found, No False Positives!

I did not purchase this item from this seller, but I do have one of these kits. Although not the cheapest way to find a head gasket leak (combustion cylinder to coolant), it is pretty much the only way to definitively confirm you DO NOT have a leak. I had suspected a leak and bought a compression tester, which checked out ok (no leak), then did a leak-down test, which also checked out ok, but in the end this was the only way to confirm I did not have a small leak. This unit also comes with two chambers. This helps because if you only had one and inadvertently sucked some light colored coolant into the chamber, you could get a false positive. This system makes getting a false positive impossible. The last thing you want to do is pull a head off and find out it was not leaking. I would buy this kit again.

I have used it twice so far and found 1 positve test.

Well I had a false positive in my truck with a rented tool from the auto parts store and I was just about to pull the heads, so I tried this one as soon as it came in and the test WAS NEGATIVE.

I like to have the dual chambers to avoid a false negative, very easy to use, comes with a lot of fluid to test and if you are a weekend mechanic it has clear instructions to use and diagnose your vehicle.

Very satisfied.
