If you have ever tried to remove Chevy Vortec spark plugs after 100,000 plus miles you need to know about this tool. I am old and have arthritis in my hands and naturally have less strength to grunt the plug wires off the almost hidden plugs. The first few plug wires took days. With this tool and a small long crowbar I had them off in less than a minute each. Grab the heat shield with the 90 degree needle nose pliers and put a little lateral leverage on these pliers and out comes the wire and heat shield. Don't worry about destroying the wires- you need to change them all out anyway. Put a little dielectric grease on the new ones so if you are around another 100,000 miles you can get them off more easily.
