Awesome! Very useful and got a good deal on it as well.
Using it all the time and is a real game changer. I swear my neighbor purposefully kills their battery on purpose just to get a boost with this bad boy ;)

This is a great little vac for REGULAR small tasks / clean ups. I don't see this correctly aimed at major workshops or drywall type clean ups....but for a cordless vac around the house (or in my case, on the boat) it's pretty handy. I used to have to run a "Shark" small vac through my inverter, it still sucked down about 600 watts, but it worked great. This M12 vac uses my already owned batteries, and they all work, the XL or smaller size, and I'm only charging up occasionally. Run this for a minute or two at a time and you get lots of run time on the small batts.
I was skeptical about it, it doesn't have lots of suction, but it's working just fine, I've been happy with it now for a few months. Uses regular size vac attachments. (Sears is the only place I've found that has decent quality brush heads)
The key to making a small vac work well is to clean the filter frequently, a compressed air can works very well getting the fine buildup out of the pleats. The filter should last a long time if you're gentle with it.
Use this for regular or light duty or in the home, get a small cheap shop vac for the nasty stuff.
I seen this vacuum in home depot walking down the isles. It instantly caught my eye. It looks from a far like a well built vacuum. It is light weight,it is compact but has some bulk to it at the same time. It has great suction... I have read reviews online and people were dissapointed with it? I don't see it... I think they are using it with a filthy filter. Speaking of the filter. It has a window on it so you can see how dirty the filter is and see how much dust/debris you have in there. Which is also which lead me to this vacuum. Before i bought this vacuum i had no Milwaukee tools. There for i did not have any batteries for it. I ended up buying the Milwaukee Impact/Drill Driver combo 12v and picked this vacuum up. I had been wanting the 12v Milwaukee / Dewalt and once i seen this vacuum I knew i was sold.
Pros: Great Suction
Great Size
Comes with attachments - 3 . One long one Small for crevicesand one that is wide.
Light weight
Battery life is very good for being a 12v battery compared to other models i have used. I would say it goes at least half an hour full throttle.
VERY easy to remove debris / Clean & replace filter
Grip on it is great, works great for many applications
Cons : I can not think of any besides the marketing on the box. At the store i did not realize it came with 3 attachments! Put that on the box and you will sell more units then with out it! I almost went and looked to see if i could find some! Lone behold it came with 3.
I can't believe that I am so excited over a vacuum... Would never expect to write such a long review.
Will update in a few months and put some pics up for size.
I love this vacuum. It has great suction and the Milwaukee batteries ensure that it runs for quite a while between charges. Easy to clean also.
This is an excellent device for its type. I use mostly use the hella-noisy Milwaukee M18 vacuum for jobsite cleanup but bought the M12 Compact vacuum specifically to pick up labradog hair off of hardwood floors. For that usage it rocks if the canister is not overfilled. I brush out the pleated filter with a 1.5" paintbrush after shaking it out into a trashcan.
Be forewarned that using either the M12 or M18 vacuum to collect fine dust like flour, ashes or sheetrock dust will quickly clog the small pleated filter, rendering the vacuum mostly useless. Best is to use broom and dustpan or a regular vacuum with a bag for fine dust.
M-12 vacuum works great, good suction, battery life very good, easy to empty, light weight.
