I needed this tool to remove the filter housing cap on a BMW X5, and it worked exactly like it was supposed to. As other commenters noted, it has some visible welds, but they were not unsightly. The cap was rather difficult to get off, and this tool held up and did what it was supposed to do without damaging or marring the part. As usual, I'm pleased with this newest Lisle tool.

Works for both e90 and f30 BMW 3 series

I use this for a 2011 BMW 328i with the n51 inline 6 and also a 2013 BMW 328i with n20 turbo 4 cyl. Makes oil changes a breeze, fits perfectly
