I am a full time tech and I use this tool for all kinds of cleaning. Good for cleaning wheel bearing and ball joint bores prepping for new. I also clean ALOT of corrosion off aluminum and steel rim bead seats.
I beat the poo out of this little brush on the end of my drill, and it has kept its shape nicely. Like the majority of Lisle tools, it's a quality product built to last.
The bristles are very rigid, however, so it's more of a specialty tool for tough spots. Also, it WILL mar many surfaces even with caution, so be careful where you use it.
A note on safety: I use the vinyl and sometimes latex exam gloves, and just one of these bristles will (and have) chew them up. So, like any attachment for a power tool, use caution as to not entangle your gloves/clothes while in use.
Remember: American Made = Americans Paid
I put it at the end of an air die grinder and use it to reach into the difficult crevices, it is coarse enough to sweep anything off and hasnt shown any signs of destructive wear after hours of use
