These things are awesome... I got them to work on my Yaris and between these and a set off-set wrenches you can pretty much take apart and put together anything in the car... work really well for getting at bolts on the water pump pulls where only a wrench would fit... speeds up the productivity... I know a lot of professionals that use gearwrench ratchet wrenches all the time so don’t hesitate to get these... I knocked off one star because I feel like the open end is a bit bulky and could be trimmed down but come on most of us will almost never use the open end with these
My old Gearwrench ratcheting metric wrench set has always been my tried and true set of tools. I wanted to add to it to add useful larger sizes that I could use for my car. The Completer set is nice. I can put all the old wrenches in the new organizer case and I have some good larger sizes. Quality looks very good.
Great product, great price, great service!
I always wanted a ratchet set for common household tasks but they were too expensive. I found this SAE/metric set at just above 100 dollars for 14 ratchets and bought it. Some very simple jobs can be a real pain by constantly lifting and repositioning the wrench in tight locations.
Yes, it's made in China but that's not always bad. Decades ago I needed a huge wrench. The auto parts wanted over $100 for that one USA made wrench. So I bought an entire Chinese set for far, far less. I still have that set with no problems. But, of course, that's an anecdote.
Too bad this set was a return. I can easily see someone's fingerprints on the ratchets. Was it returned because there was a problem with the wrenches or they simply didn't like the looks of the wrenches?
It's missing one plastic retaining piece that prevents the wrenches from falling out when mounted on a wall. The set didn't come in a box (aside from the Amazon shipping box).
The mounting tray is nothing to get excited about. It's flimsy but it's better than nothing. Unless one uses the plastic retaining strips, there's the possibility that a wrench could fall out if the tray is mounted on a wall.
How do I trade a 19mm to an 18mm as it is used most often. I like the set, but need a complete set with the 18mm as I use these daily for work. Please let me know how to do this.
