You get what you pay for.

When you need a tool to perform, then there is no replacement for quality. My wife does beading, and some of the wire she encounters is kinda stiff. Think gold-plated piano wire. Her jewelry-grade tools were okay, but they wouldn't cut some of this stuff without damage to the cutting jaws. This set has been more than a match for what she works with. No, it doesn't work with the small, intricate stuff, but when she needs to form or cut heavier wire, this works perfectly. And, it keeps her out of my tool box!
