bubble flaring tool kit

Excellent tool, not able to find locally. Works great. Anyone who repairs/restores older autos will find they may need this tool because parts are not available.

Great Tool

I never flared a brake line before, but I used this on my Volvo brake lines and was impressed how easy it was. The tool does a good job. Follow the directions, which state to clamp down the nut closest to the line, then clamp the far end - this will give you better clamping pressure and hold the line tightly. The clamp itself has small teeth in it to bite into the hose for further holding strength.

Bubble Flaring Tool

I purchased this tool in order to replace the brake lines on my Jaguar XKE Independent rear suspension. When I first looked at the results that this flaring tool produced, I was very skeptical as the bubble flare did not look at all like the bubble flares that are professionally done.
Seeing that if any of these brake lines leaked, I would have to completely remove the complete IRS in order to repair the leak, I was hesitant, but I decided to simply follow the instructions (Very skimpy) and do the brake line installation.
To my surprise I installed all of the brake lines and not a leak to be seen. After almost a month of use there still are not any leaks from any of the eight brake line connections.
This bubble flaring produced some of the easiest tubing flares that I have ever done.
